"&" Your Point Is ??

Below is the Ampersand that I have chosen from the "Coming Together" font set created by a variety of designers for charity. This font set consists of only & symbols.

This ampersand reminds me of Bauhaus Design due to the straight thick lines which contrasts with the thin lines that create the detail in the character. Below is a picture from Bauhaus design which has a similar sort of structure.

The ampersand that I have chosen is a Serif Font. I would say that it has a modern classification due to the thin straight serifs. The viewer can quickly see that this an ampersand from the thick black lines which makes it effective as the viewer does not need to concentrate to hard. This makes it a very readable character.

The character also has a fun factor. It chunkiness makes it bold and stands out from the crowd. As well as being fun, it also has a sophisticated and clean look due to the straight edges and perfect curves.
